Acknowledgment
I understand that this is a waitlist and does not guarantee a marathon entry and I understand that if selected, I must meet all Team NYP fundraising and participation requirements (see below).
Terms and Conditions
Age Policy:https://www.nyrr.org/run/guidelines-and-procedures/age-policy
Fundraising Agreement
For runners using a 2026 Team NYP race entry: All runners must meet the minimum fundraising requirement of $4,500 USD by October 13, 2026. If you do not reach the required minimum by this deadline, you will be responsible for contributing the remaining balance.
Runners are also required to reach 50% of the fundraising minimum ($2,250) by August 28, 2026. Those who meet this benchmark on or before the deadline will receive a link to create their NYRR account and accept their bib. Runners who have not met the 50% requirement by the deadline will not receive their bib entry until the requirement has been met or exceeded.
All donations to Team NYP are nonrefundable.
Registration Agreement
The New York Road Runners (NYRR) will set the last date to register for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Once this date is set, I understand that I will have until this date to register or drop out. I also understand that if I have not dropped out by this date and I am on Team NYP, I will be responsible for the fundraising balance. If I move before the end of August 2026, I will inform the Team NYP coordinators of my new address.
Registration Fee/Entry Guarantee
I understand that if I am selected to run on Team NYP, I am required to pay the NYRR TCS New York City Marathon entry fee ($255/members, $315/non-members) when I register in the NYRR portal. This fee is separate from Team NYP’s fundraising minimum. Until I receive a Team NYP confirmation, my entry is not guaranteed. All participants are required to use the NewYork-Presbyterian fundraising platform, Classy.
Media Release
If my story is chosen, I understand that I will receive a notification from a NewYork-Presbyterian employee, will be invited to review the content before it is published, and will be asked to sign a release form. (You may revoke your consent at any time.) I grant permission to NewYork-Presbyterian to use my photo(s), story, fundraising effort, and shared marathon experience.
Entries are nontransferable once accepted.
